Challenge:

As one of the leading franchises in The Hundred, Southern Brave wanted to elevate its digital presence beyond match results and announcements, creating a distinctive brand that could connect with current and new fans all year-round.

The objectives were clear:

  • Develop a premium visual identity across all social platforms

  • Create a consistent and ownable tone of voice that reflected the Southern Brave brand

  • Increase player engagement and access to build stronger fan connections

  • Deliver high-quality content capable of driving ticket sales, fan engagement, and commercial value

  • Position Southern Brave as one of the most entertaining and culturally relevant teams in The Hundred

 

Strategic Execution:

Brand & Graphic Overhaul

Implemented a complete refresh of the Brave's social media output, introducing a cleaner, more premium visual identity across all channels.

This included:

  • New graphic templates

  • Refined typography and layouts

  • Consistent branding across matchdays, announcements and lifestyle content

  • A more modern, entertainment-led approach to social storytelling

 

 

Defining the Brave Voice

Developed a clear tone of voice that reflected the personality of Southern Brave. We are the South.

The content shifted from purely informational messaging to a more confident, energetic and fan-first approach that aligned with the club's identity and audience.

 

 

Player-Led Content Strategy

Built stronger relationships with players and support staff to increase access and participation.

This enabled the creation of:

  • Individual player shoots

  • Lifestyle content

  • Behind-the-scenes features

  • Personality-driven social formats

  • Training ground content

  • Documentary-style storytelling

 

The result was a more human and authentic connection between players and supporters.

 

Major Campaign Production:

Delivered a series of flagship content campaigns throughout the season, including:


2026 Kit Launch

Produced a premium campaign centred around the "Born Brave" brand platform, combining cinematic visuals, player storytelling and regional pride to launch the new Southern Brave kit.


Captains Announcement

Created a storytelling-led captaincy announcement featuring pathway players and future stars, reinforcing Southern Brave's commitment to developing talent while celebrating leadership within the club.


Squad Announcements

Produced a range of creative player announcement assets designed to maximise engagement and excitement ahead of the season.
